Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care in Memphis, TN. This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents.
This is a full time position.
Job Requirements- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (required)
- Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care
- Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit
- Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care
- Lead infection control, safety and quality improvement on assigned unit
- Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed
