Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care in Memphis, TN. This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents.

This is a full time position.

Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (required)
  • Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit
  • Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting
  • Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care
  • Lead infection control, safety and quality improvement on assigned unit
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed
