- Current state RN license
- Stroke certification
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care for assigned patients during each shift.
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care in collaboration with unit leadership.
- Support clinical competency among staff and manage resources effectively related to patient care.
Compliance / Notes
- Required scrub colors:
Ceil blue or white for RNs and hunter green for CNAs.
- Contact the house supervisor for any nurse cancellations.
- Patient ratios:
Neuro Tele unit - 1:4;
Cardiac Stepdown unit - 1:6 to 1:7;
Post Op unit - 1:6 to 1:7.
