Clinical Leader: Infusion Clinic nights

In that environment, we invite you to join St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Clinical Staff Leader (CSL) for our Infusion Center. In this role you’ll lead a nursing unit, balancing bedside care with administrative responsibilities, and help us deliver high‑quality care to children with cancer and other critical conditions.

• Lead and support your unit’s nursing staff, providing operational and quality oversight.
• Serve bedside during an eight‑hour shift and dedicate one protected eight‑hour shift for administrative duties including quality checks, rounding, and supervisor check‑ins.
• Act as the liaison between patients, families, and the health team, collaborating with leadership such as House Supervisors, Managers, and Relief Staff Leaders to maintain consistent, high‑quality patient care.
• Coordinate development opportunities and serve as the voice of your unit.
• Ensure the unit consistently delivers high‑quality patient care.

Primarily, it is a weeknight schedule with three 12‑hour shifts during the week and a 4‑hour administrative time to cover meetings and other administrative requirements of the job.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Required Training:
  Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Minimum Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required; supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Licensure:
  Current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license (RN‑TN) if the primary residence is Tennessee, or a Nurse Licensure Non‑Compact state license; or a license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state if the primary residence is within the Compact.
• Specialized Certification:
  Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) or Nurse Executive Certification (NE‑BC) or Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA‑BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) required within 12 months of eligibility.

St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role: $86,320 – $154,960 per year for Clinical Staff Leader:
Infusion Clinic Nights.
