This role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients per shift, supervising staff to whom care is delegated. The RN supports the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and effective resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care for assigned patients utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
- Develop and modify care plans for newly admitted patients as conditions change.
- Deliver designated nursing interventions consistent with the stated medical plan of care.
- Perform procedures in the specialty service area.
- Document nursing care accurately and completely in all assigned patient records, using appropriate forms.

- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Licensure/Certification:
- RN with current applicable state licensure/permit
- BLS – Certification required upon hire for all nursing positions
- ACLS – Required within 3 months of hire for the following departments:
- Emergency Dept & Medical Response Team
- ICU, Stepdown
- Med/Surg/Tele
- All Float Pool
- Same Day Surgery, Operating Room & PACU
- GI Lab & Interventional Radiology
- Special Procedures
- L&D
- Cardiac Care, Cardiac Rehab & Cardiac Cath Lab
- CPI – Required within 3 months of hire for:
- Emergency Dept RNs
- All Bartlett Float Pool RNs, Memphis Float Pool RNs that will float to Behavioral Health and/or Emergency Dept.
- All Behavioral Health RNs
- PALS – Required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept. and Float Pool RNs who float to the Emergency Dept.
- NRP – Required within 3 months of hire for L&D, Mother/Baby, and NICU RNs
