  • Collaborate with preceptors, nurses, clinical managers, staff nurses, and other representatives of the assigned clinical site to plan students' clinical experience.
  • Guide students in delivering safe, quality patient care.
  • Mentor the students' development of clinical decision‑making and clinical judgment skills, competency in the execution of clinical skills, and effective communication with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
  • Evaluate students' clinical practice and provide feedback on the accomplishments of clinical objectives.
  • Communicate student concerns on time to the course faculty.
  • Facilitate learning in the health care environment.
  • Participate in all mandatory trainings and/or meetings required before and during the semester, including site‑specific orientation.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication and collaborative interprofessional relationships.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Three or more years of practice as a registered nurse.
Preferred
