We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to lead a clinical care team in collaboration with physician sponsors, acting as a change agent for a specific patient population. The role integrates clinical expertise, education, research, and leadership to improve patient outcomes while supporting our commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides advanced direct and indirect care to patients and families, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Leads staff education programs and partners with healthcare professionals to address the needs of patient populations.
  • Provides evidence‑based consulting and research, partnering with professionals and departments to implement research findings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Exhibits clinical leadership to meet system, organizational, and departmental goals.
  • Maintains accountability for professional responsibilities and engages in ongoing self‑development.
Education & Formal Training Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
Work Experience Requirements
  • General nursing clinical experience at the RN level, 3–5 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in applying advanced nursing concepts and professional techniques acquired through a master’s degree or higher, demonstrated by national specialty certification.

Physical Demands
  • Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact; exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.
  • Exposure to heat or cold; ability to react quickly to emergencies; handling of narcotics.
  • Communication skills: reading, writing, and speaking with other individuals.
  • Manual dexterity: lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs unaided, pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs; standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, bending; repetitive hand/wrist motions.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination.
