Crisis Registered Nurse
The Crisis Registered Nurse will work with Crisis Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to ensure continuity of care for all CAC and CSU clients. The Crisis Registered Nurses (RN) will ensure all medical crisis functions are completed as required.
Graduate of an approved RN program. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
Experience working in a mental health or crisis setting. Previous experience working in a crisis setting is preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse to work in the state of TN. Current BLS certification required.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure CSU Bed Board is accurate and up to date at all times.
Coordinate all discharges, including AMA, with Provider on duty.
Ensure admissions are completed and documented in the appropriate program.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively in a crisis service delivery setting dealing with individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
- Ability to use mature judgment in problem resolution and to formulate appropriate crisis intervention strategies for Center clients.
- Must have knowledge of management and organization, and knowledge of the professional disciplines.
Physical Demands/Conditions:
Prolonged standing and walking; lifting, turning patients and equipment. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")
