Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is seeking a travel LVN/LPN for a Medical-Surgical unit at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring IV certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience.

• Current LPN/LVN license required (no pending licensure; must be in compliance with NLC guidelines); license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience required; 3+ years preferred
• IV certification is a firm requirement
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• At least 1 completed prior travel nursing assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible unless they have 3+ years of recent experience
• ADN required for this position
• Active Driver's License required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center
• Medical-Surgical unit with a team nursing model; patient ratio is 1:7 with support from PCCs, RNs, and other team members
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• On-call required as needed
• Weekend coverage required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests will not be accepted after an offer has been made
• If 2–3 major end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 1–2 of those holidays
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Floating between like units and nearby campuses (within 20 miles) is possible, though cross-campus floating is rare
• Vaccination status must be provided
