Registered Nurse Operating Room

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures and collaborating with the surgical team. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery. Effective communication skills are essential for this role. The position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with infection control protocols is mandatory.

Documentation and maintaining patient records accurately is expected. The RN will advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience. Continuous education and skill validation are part of the ongoing professional development. Commitment to following hospital policies and procedures is required. The nurse will also participate in quality improvement initiatives. This role demands an individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong organizational skills.
