Tri Star North Crest Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse. The role supports patient care in cardiac catheterization and specialized radiology procedures. The nurse will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

The Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department and consistent with the scope and standards of practice. The RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care and serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

• Deliver individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures and specialized radiology procedures, including prep and recovery.
• Perform specialized cardiac tests on adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Record patients' medical information, vital signs, and any other patient care.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or a compact state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• At least 2 years of critical care experience: ICU, ER.
