Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The RN will serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and providers to ensure a positive patient experience and continuity of care.

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate communication between patients and providers.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Perform key administrative duties.
• Provide telephone triage and patient support as needed.
• Support care coordination and patient navigation throughout the healthcare system.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or Compact License).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• IV/Infusion Therapy Knowledge.

• Knowledgeable of medication administering guidelines and therapies as well as chart review.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Excellent customer service and compassion for patients.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to problem solve and manage difficult situations professionally.

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
• Frequent patient interaction, including exposure to body fluids and hazardous medications.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

An RN with oncology, outpatient clinic, therapy experience who enjoys patient education and building relationships with patients in a Monday–Friday outpatient setting.

This is a Contract position based in Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00 per hour.
