Part Time - Licensed Practical Nurse

Role Overview: Assists Registered Nurses in implementing patient care plans, providing technical support, and ensuring quality care aligned with organizational values and mission.

• Collects, reports, and records patient data for nursing assessments.
• Provides safe, direct patient care.
• Continuously evaluates and updates the care plan.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members both verbally and in writing.
• Participates in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.

• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required; BLS certification.
• Preferred but not mandatory: prior work experience and licenses in Mississippi or Arkansas.
• Physical ability to perform activities such as standing, walking, reaching, and reacting quickly in emergencies.
• Ability to handle patient body fluids and hazardous materials safely.

No supervisory responsibilities; physical demands include medium work exerting up to 50 lbs., with visual acuity for patient assessment and data analysis. Emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and high standards of care in a community-focused environment.
