CVOR RN Opportunity
Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care. The candidate will support surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes through expert clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer preoperative patient assessments and prepare them for cardiovascular surgeries.
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and surgical protocols throughout procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses during surgery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth operation flow and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist with patient positioning, instrumentation, and equipment setup.
- Adhere to strict travel compliance requirements and facility policies during the assignment.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the relevant state or valid compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience; 3+ years preferred.
- Proven experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
- Strict compliance with Tier 2 travel guidelines and facility-specific policies.
