Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a perioperative position requiring recent OR experience. The role involves collaboration within a dynamic surgical team, providing high-quality patient care throughout the operative process.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Prepare the operating room by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia levels during surgery, responding promptly to any changes.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
• Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent OR experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with transplant cases and previous travel assignments, if applicable.
• Be able to work day shifts (4×10 hours) with schedule flexibility during interview.
• Meet travel compliance requirements including Tier 2 standards.
• Submit a copy of valid driver's license and include Return-to-Work requests at submission.
