Pediatric Operating Room RN Circulator

Job Summary:
Seeking a Pediatric Operating Room RN Circulator with pediatric experience to support surgical procedures in a busy OR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative care, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating smooth surgical workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with pediatric surgical procedures as a Circulator in the operating room.
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient patient care and procedural flow.
- Document all perioperative activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
- Handle on-call duties and respond to emergent cases as required.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience, or 3 years if no travel experience.
- Demonstrate pediatric surgical experience and familiarity with pediatric protocols.
- Have at least 1 prior travel assignment or willingness to fulfill travel requirements.
- Maintain current certifications, including BLS and any other applicable credentials.
- Be able to work 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities.
