American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of recent OR experience.

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with exact times to be discussed during interview
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• May be floated between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius, though cross-campus floating is rare

• Active RN license in the state or a compact RN license that complies with NLC guidelines, in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required for candidates with prior travel assignments, or 3 years of recent OR experience for those without travel experience
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Transplant experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• ADN accepted for this position
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Vaccination status must be disclosed

• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted regardless of distance
• RTO must be submitted with initial application, as time off requested after an offer will not be honored
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 of these holidays fall within the assignment, must work at least 1
• Former permanent staff or travelers at this facility must be separated for at least 1 full year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Candidates with expiring certifications during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan
