Instructor/Assistant Professor

The College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Instructor/Assistant Professor.

Primary teaching responsibilities within the BSN program. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students. Responsibilities for this role include in-person and online didactic and clinical teaching. Additional teaching responsibilities include teaching across programs and/or concentrations.

EDUCATION:

Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required. Doctoral Degree in Nursing from an accredited program preferred.

LICENSES: RN License required.

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:

Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired. Experience in population/public health and nursing leadership preferred. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Experience in curriculum development, in-person, and online teaching preferred. Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.
