LVN​/LPN – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Medical Surgical experience to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be flexible, experienced in trauma care, and able to work night shifts on a 36 or 48-hour schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in a busy trauma hospital setting, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with RNs, PCCs, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and critical situations during night shifts.
• Comply with all hospital, state, and federal regulations, including NLC guidelines.
• Meet all compliance, licensure, and vaccination requirements prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid LPN license in the state or a compact license in accordance with NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing, with trauma experience preferred.
• Have at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with prior travel experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to work night shifts.
• Be vaccinated against required health standards, with a renewal plan if certifications are expiring.
