Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with recent Operating Room (OR) experience to join our team. This position requires travel, flexibility, and adherence to strict compliance and licensing requirements to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and coordinate patient care plans in the OR setting.
• Assist surgical teams with procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and ensuring patient safety.
• Take call shifts, with scheduling details to be confirmed during the interview process.
• Comply with travel guidelines, including submission guidelines, RTO policies, and license requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Document clinical activities accurately in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license meeting NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent OR experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate at least one prior travel assignment with verified completion.
• Have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in the operating room.
• Be willing to work days (4x10 hours), with schedule flexibility as discussed.
• Meet all Tier 2 travel compliance requirements and the facility’s strict policies.
