Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Tele unit on an overflow basis. This role involves transitioning to team nursing and supporting post-surgical and observation care with a focus on patient safety and quality care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg/Tele setting, adhering to established protocols.
• Transition to and support team nursing model under supervision.
• Monitor patient conditions and document necessary clinical information accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Maintain compliance with all facility-specific policies and safety standards.
• Complete required documentation and assist with patient discharge procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a valid compact license meeting NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg/Tele units.
• Have at least 1 prior travel assignment, with 3+ years of overall nursing experience preferred.
• Be available for day shift (7:00 - 19:00) and compliant with travel requirements.
• Be willing to work weekend rotations and on-call as needed.
• Must meet all Tier 2 travel compliance criteria, including vaccination and credentialing.
