Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Television setting within a Level I Trauma Center. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing services to acutely ill patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, PCCs, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately into Electronic Health Records (EPIC preferred).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license in accordance with NLC guidelines.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent RN experience in hospital or acute care settings.
• Have prior experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar large hospital environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Be willing to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in on-call as needed.
