Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and skilled patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to team environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical standards.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with facility policies.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations, providing high-quality bedside care.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or valid compact license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Proven experience in Level I or Level II Trauma settings preferred.
• Strong ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:7 with team support from PCCs, LPNs, etc.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Must include a valid driver’s license with submission.
