Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide professional nursing care for patients' comfort and well-being, including preparing equipment, triaging patient concerns, and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments. In addition, the LPN will obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Responsibilities will also include coordinating procedure scheduling, obtaining prior authorizations, observing and maintaining records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress through the electronic medical records.

  • Ability to read charts to ensure lab tests and reports are included for physician review
  • Demonstrated ability to perform medical assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

Education & Experience:

· Licensed Practical Nurse Certification is Required

· At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is Required

· Surgery clinic experience Preferred
