• Number of Beds : 32
• Patient Ratios : 2:1
• Unit staffing description :
  • Student nurse externs available as techs
  • Unit secretary available M-F
• Type of equipment :
  Hill-Rom beds, Phillips telemetry monitors
• Documentation system:
  Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 4 week schedules (3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period)
• Floating policy:
  Float as needed to units where needed depending on unit census
• Patient Experience requirements:
  None specific

  BLS

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have:
Cardiac experience, strong critical care experience

Advanced skills needed: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP;
Impella; CRRT preferred

Procedures performed on unit:
Central line insertion, swan insertion; intubations

Certifications

Required:

ACLS

Dress Code:

• Scrubs (galaxy blue, red, black); scrub jackets or vests only
