What You'll Do- Lead and manage the QA program across all stages—from raw ingredients to finished goods.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP
, Food Safety regulations, and applicable certifications. - Monitor and report key KPIs tied to quality, compliance, and food safety performance.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Troubleshoot product quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain documentation, retention samples, and certificates of analysis.
- Champion continuous improvement and align QA initiatives with broader plant strategy.
- Coach, mentor, and develop QA Technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and support the resolution of customer complaints.
- Work flexible shifts as needed to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing QA
. - Degree in Food Science
, Nutrition
, Chemistry
, or a related field. - Strong understanding of HACCP, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance principles.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem‑solving and data interpretation skills.
- Clear, effective communicator with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Highly detail‑oriented with a strategic, solutions‑driven mindset.
- Professional, trustworthy, reliable, and adaptable in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Hands‑on food manufacturing experience
. - Demonstrated success in resolving complex QA/QC technical issues in a production environment.
- 100% On‑Site Role – be immersed in operations and close to the product.
- Some Travel – supporting audits, suppliers, or training as needed.
