A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality systems, product compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance within a fast‑paced production environment. The ideal candidate brings strong quality leadership experience, hands‑on Lean Six Sigma expertise, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally to resolve complex quality challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team, ensuring effective quality systems, procedures, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer audits, third‑party audits, corrective actions, and quality concerns
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects, variability, and non‑conformances
- Track, analyze, and report quality KPIs and trends to senior leadership
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve root‑cause quality issues using structured problem‑solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC)
- Oversee supplier quality performance, including qualification and audit activities
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role within manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Practitioner certification
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis)
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management
- Proven leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system
- Familiarity with SharePoint or document control platforms
Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives
