Job Description:
The Biology Lab Technician supports the production of advanced cellular therapies in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with a scientific aptitude and interest in cell culture, aseptic processing, and biotech manufacturing
Responsibilities:
+ Perform aseptic manufacturing activities in a GMP-compliant cleanroom
+ Support production, formulation, and cell banking processes
+ Conduct cell culture and laboratory procedures using sterile techniques
+ Accurately complete GMP documentation (batch records, SOPs, logs)
+ Assist with validation activities and process improvements
+ Handle raw materials, including receipt, preparation, and staging
+ Operate and monitor laboratory equipment and instrumentation
+ Package and document materials in compliance with regulatory standards
+ Maintain cleanroom standards, including ISO compliance and contamination control
+ Support tech transfer and collaborate with internal teams
Qualifications:
+ 0-1 year of experience in biotech, lab, or cell therapy environment (internships accepted)
+ High school diploma required
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field strongly preferred (Biology, Chemistry, Biotech, etc.)
+ Basic understanding of cell culture, microbiology, or lab techniques
+ Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
+ Ability to follow GMP/GDP standards and SOPs
Nice to Haves:
+ Cell culture or aseptic technique exposure
+ Knowledge of cleanroom environments (ISO standards)
+ Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory practices
+
Experience with batch record documentation and validation concepts

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.12 - $22.12/hr.
