Job DescriptionThis role is a Researcher position in the Center of Excellence for Leukemia Studies (CELS) of the Comprehensive Cancer Center e Children’s Research Hospital. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in sample processing and flow cytometry.
Responsibilities include working under direct supervision to maintain and operate flow cytometry equipment, perform sample processing, calibrate and maintain equipment, design panels, acquire data, analyze results, generate reports, and train new staff. Candidates should coordinate a wide range of laboratory procedures and communicate effectively.
Job Responsibilities- Performs laboratory experiments as directed using specific and prescribed techniques/protocols.
- Follows basic protocols, implementing experimental techniques prescribed by supervisor and providing basic troubleshooting where appropriate.
- Accurately records experimental procedures and data.
- May draft results/data for posters, presentations or publications.
- Operates lab equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to meet departmental goals.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area is required.
- No experience required.
St. Jude is providing a salary range estimate of $24.00 - $42.00 per hour for this role.
