Position Overview
The Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead an automated light‑directed DNA synthesis platform for use in biomedical research and drug discovery.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the automated light‑directed DNA synthesis platform.
- Apply the platform to oligonucleotide synthesis for various research functions.
- Perform additional projects such as high‑throughput screening and printing microarray technology using legacy instruments (e.g., Quanterix Microarrayers and light‑directed synthesizers).
- Background in chemical, biomedical, or electrical engineering.
- Experience in optics/photolithography, microfluidics, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of microarray technology, microscopy, microfabrication, ink‑jet technology, surface/materials science, or similar fields.
- Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area. - Minimum Experience:
Ten (10) years relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree; eight (8) years with a Master’s degree; or five (5) years with a PhD.

Estimated salary range: $104,000 – $186,160 per year for the role of Senior Scientist in Chemical Biology and Therapeutics.
