Postdoctoral Research Associate - Developmental Neurobiology - Muscle-to-Brain Communication & Aging

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the group of Dr. Fabio Demontis.

The lab is located in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology e Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, USA. Researchers use mice and Drosophila to decipher conserved mechanisms of muscle aging and proteostasis, and the impact of muscle‑derived signals on central nervous system aging.

• Ph.D. in a related field.
• Expertise in molecular, biochemical, and cell‑biological techniques.
• Training in Drosophila neurobiology or tauopathy is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a strong desire to contribute to aging and neurobiology.
