JOB SUMMARY/
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Researcher 1 supports a multidisciplinary research program focused on understanding the mechanisms of acute kidney injury (AKI), kidney transplantation, and renal recovery.
ResponsibilitiesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree. (Doctoral Degree preferred.)(TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of relevant lab experience; OR Master's Degree and one (1) year or relevant lab experience. Surgical experience is necessary for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to think and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Demonstrates effective listening, oral and written communication skills.
- Technical writing skills for proposal, report, and manuscript preparation.
- Ability to create and maintain extensive records on research subjects.
- Knowledge of Basic Research Principles and Federal Code of Regulations for Clinical Research Studies.
- Excellent organizational skills.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position may occasionally be required to work evenings
