Crafco, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Customer Support Coordinator at our Memphis, TN Supply Center

Crafco Supply Centers are retail and manufacturing stores that make and sell pavement preservation materials and equipment for crack sealing, pothole patching, sealcoating and more. The Administrative Assistant/Customer Support Coordinator will provide information and support to customers and production areas. They will also effectively assist customers in placing orders, provide follow‑up information to both the customer and our production team, while maintaining good relationships with sales, customers and production areas.

General Duties:
  • Receive and process customer orders for all equipment, parts, and sealant products.
  • Print and distribute completed sales orders.
  • Maintain contact with customers regarding part/product availability, shipments and tracking.
  • Deal with customer concerns and problems related to orders, return goods, shipments etc. and ensure that the appropriate steps are taken to resolve these concerns within the parameters of company policy.
  • Prepare freight quotes and process material returns.
  • Collect all daily repair information from the service technician and follow up for repair approval.
  • Maintain files on all repair customers while keeping accurate files for orders, quotes and invoices.
  • Proactively keep customers updated on the progress of the repair and follow up with customers after work is completed to assess satisfaction.
  • Enter all work order, inventory and warranty information to the computer system and issue sales orders when work is completed.
  • Responsible for the weekly cycle counts on parts and ordering parts as needed for servicing area.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure that work is done in a time sensitive manner.
  • Coordinate rental information with area sales reps, keeping accurate records showing current location of all rental units.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service or administration required.
  • Experience in retail or equipment supply industry or related fields such as construction, asphalt, concrete, or chemicals a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and positive demeanor
  • Self‑directed, with time management skills and ability to work with little supervision
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications, POS, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to address customer needs and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions including but not limited to: standing, sitting, bending, squatting, or remaining in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time, lifting/moving large, bulky and/or heavy items frequently (50 lbs. or more), working in adverse conditions including hot/cold both indoors and outdoors and/or in inclement weather.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to work occasional overtime or Saturday hours, as needed.
  • Ability for local travel, if needed.
