Golf Attendant; Part-Time

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Works under general direction of the Golf Facility Manager to provide customer service for patrons of City of Memphis golf courses. Conducts retail sales transactions for golf green fees, cart fees, and golf shop merchandise. Picks up trash, sets up driving ranges, washes golf carts, cleans clubhouse, golf shop, snack bar, and outside grounds.

• Pick up trash, set up driving ranges, wash golf carts.
• Clean clubhouse, golf shop, snack bar, and outside grounds.
• Perform additional functions, essential or otherwise, as assigned.

Must communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Requires use of general office equipment such as computers and telephones and conduct financial transactions with customers. May need to lift items up to 50 lbs, operate push mowers, handheld leaf blowers.

Majority of work is performed both indoors and outdoors.

High school diploma/equivalent with one year of experience in a related field.
