Merchandiser – Part-time Seasonal, Cleveland Area

Pay: $21 per hour.

Shift: Thursday-Saturday, 2 p.m.

- 10 p.m. (Seasonal). The role is labor-intensive, requiring lifting 20-45 pounds per case, bending, reaching, and squatting while stocking, rotating, and moving products across shelves, coolers, backrooms, and sales floor.

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location, using equipment such as U-boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners.
• Keep back-room stock neat and organized.
• Communicate store issues to managers and Pepsi Co management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and designated routes.
• Service accounts during designated times established by management.
• Deliver customer service, including communication, rapport building, and attentiveness to customer needs.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Use handheld devices to write or input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable).
• Have a car or personal transportation capable of reaching multi-store locations within the assigned shift.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Proof of insurance.

• Experience working in a retail or grocery store, understanding store operations and managing back-room inventory.
• Experience moving products within a store using equipment such as U-boats, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Experience merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, rotating products, cleaning shelves, eliminating out-of-stock and out-of-date items).
• Experience managing back-room or stock-room inventory, organizing pallets, and stacking and storing inventory.
• Experience serving customers, handling complaints, and responding to requests.

For positions requiring a personal vehicle for a sales route, mileage reimbursement is provided.
