Member Specialist

• Provide member service and maintain the checkout area.
• Resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam's Club products and services.
• Provide guidance and support regarding self‑service technology.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies.
• Follow safety standards, procedures and conduct safety sweeps.
• Handle merchandise properly, report unsafe situations and maintain entrance and exit areas.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, transporting items, and safe shopping environment.
• Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and program rollouts.
• Ensure area of responsibility is maintained with proper handling of returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink or damage.
• Follow company policies, procedures and ethics, including the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, collaborate with managers and coworkers, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support teamwork, mentoring and development of associates, and promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
• Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and support the company’s goal of becoming a regenerative organization.
• Serve customers and members by putting the customer first and making data‑based decisions.

Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.

Experience with mobile retail applications and additional customer service expertise.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
