Job Responsibilities- Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow, merchandising, working inventory exceptions, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, offering guidance and support on self‑service technology, assisting purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting store products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing hazardous materials, adhering to steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, following sanitation and food‑safety policies, and monitoring shrink, security risks, and safety.
- Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick‑up orders throughout the day, staging, ensuring products are selected and staged per policy, ensuring Merchandising Associates pick orders within acceptable time frames, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying them in business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending improvement opportunities; and adapting to change and feedback.
The hourly wage range for this position is 18.00 to 25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums of 0.35 to 3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
