At Agios, we are fueled by connections to transform rare diseases. We foster an inclusive, collaborative culture – one that sparks bold thinking and strengthens our connections with each other and with the rare disease communities we serve. We embrace diverse backgrounds with respect, active listening, and a commitment to inclusion – because our differences shape how we hire, collaborate, and innovate.

Our team’s proven track record of executional excellence, combined with our depth of expertise and dedication, enables us to develop innovative medicines that reflect the priorities of rare disease communities. Our commitment is more than scientific – it’s deeply personal, grounded in the meaningful connections we have built.

Who we are:

Our mission is to deliver transformative therapies for rare genetic diseases. We focus on patient-oriented science, respectful collaboration, and a culture that values diverse voices. We are dedicated to building an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment where all employees can bring their whole selves to work.

The impact you will make:

Field‑Based Requirements:

Consistent in‑person engagement across priority accounts within the territory is required.

What you will do:
  • Occupy territory business owner role, developing and executing a long‑term market building strategy.
  • Lead multi‑touch disease education engagements to deepen understanding of SCD pathophysiology, disease burden, and unmet need.

  • Collaborate with field teams, marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access for alignment on objectives and communication.
  • Build credible, trust‑based relationships with key customers and expand knowledge of the sickle cell marketplace.
  • Coordinate with regional Medical Affairs and Market Access to ensure seamless patient support.
  • Advance patients toward treatment readiness, continuously assess performance metrics, and adapt strategies.

  • Ensure appropriate and compliant utilization of corporate resources for customer engagements.
  • Represent Agios positively and professionally at meetings and conferences, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.

  • Lead ad‑hoc initiatives that contribute to business goals.
What Success Looks Like:

  • Disease education conversations deepened, leading to earlier identification of appropriate patients.
  • Accounts are prepared to act efficiently once therapy is approved.
  • Cross‑functional partners rely on your insights for strategy and execution.
