Sales and Estimating Responsibilities- Attend all estimates on time.
- Price new opportunities within 48 hours of onsite visits using corporate rates.
- Return incoming phone calls professionally within 8 business hours.
- Provide product differentiation throughout the selling process.
- Effectively sell the company’s services by understanding customer needs and delivering suitable solutions.
- Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on all open bids, obtaining a definitive yes or no.
- Achieve a closing percentage of at least 40%.
- Participate in networking groups to build business relationships and promote the company.
- Relentlessly prospect by asking referrals and seeking new business beyond standard marketing.
- Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates, and gross profits.
- Maintain regular communication with owners, staff, and field personnel to develop effective methods and systems.
- Maintain the company’s reputation by communicating professionally, being punctual, and returning calls promptly.
- Ensure all necessary job information is communicated to install crews (e.g., job colors, scopes, scheduling, billing).
- Maintain open communication with crew leaders and painters to stay informed on job status and teams.
- Communicate with all employees positively and respectfully.
