Position: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE (ONSITE ROLE)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for selling high quality personal protective equipment to authorized distributors in a competitive market against established competitors. Must be willing to prospect and find new opportunities, service and grow existing customer accounts, and have strong closing skills. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with a desire for high personal achievement and winning.

We are looking for a competitive individual who can grow assigned accounts, take direction, be flexible, and who works well in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience, negotiating, closing, or account management is helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Make 60 outbound sales calls daily to generate new business from new and existing customers in assigned territory.
  • Developing and building relationships is a critical component of this role.
  • Assist in managing the sales process of providing pricing, order tracking, and complaint resolution.
  • This role will include heavy call and email volume.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a phone sales environment
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Excellent phone skills/ etiquette
  • Assertive and experienced in conflict resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Prophet 21 is a plus
  • Proficiency with maintaining up to date contact information in our CRM (Hub Spot).
  • Territory/account management skills
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 times annually
