Our Southeast National sales team partners with organizations to address and solve complex risk problems.
About the JobThe National Account Manager role maintains and grows a book of business in the assigned territory (TN, KY, LA, MS), while driving utilization of Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions products across various platforms to create positive business outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans to identify sales strategies, assess revenue potential, and outline targeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities and penetrate markets with Lexis Nexis Risk products and solutions.
- Create clear and thorough sales plans for each assigned account, detailing all relevant information about the account, its industry, and its specific Lexis Nexis Risk history.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, acting as a liaison between sales support and customers to provide superior service and solutions.
- Implement effective account/territory plans, including new business growth, resource management, revenue forecasting, and developing key contacts and business relationships within new accounts.
- Develop strategic sales plans using business analysis tools to identify and track revenue trends, recognize sales opportunities, target specific sales activities, and analyze competitive threats.
- Understand the value of Lexis Nexis Risk products and pricing, and articulate benefits in a manner meaningful to customers.
- 5+ years proven sales experience with relevant industry or product experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and forecasting skills.
- Understanding of corporate and/or professional research processes, with the ability to quickly develop an in‑depth understanding of Lexis Nexis Risk products and services.
- Outstanding networking capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Comfortable with up to 30% travel.
- Must be located in the territory.
Base pay range: $89,700 - $166,400. Total target cash range: $138,000 - $256,000. Geographic differentials may apply. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
