Account Manager

The Inside Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a defined book of HVAC contractor accounts. This role focuses on increasing revenue, gross profit (GP), and share of wallet within assigned customers through proactive sales efforts, strong relationship management, and technical product support.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned HVAC contractor accounts
• Develop account-specific sales plans to increase revenue and gross profit (GP)
• Proactively contact customers to drive repeat business and capture upcoming jobs
• Identify opportunities to convert competitive business. Generate accurate quotes for equipment, parts, and job packages
• Follow up on all quotes to improve close rates
• Recommend add-ons and accessories to maximize ticket value. Partner with outside sales to execute account growth strategies
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally

• Increase sales and GP within assigned accounts year-over-year
• Expand product penetration across equipment, parts, and accessories
• Develop new high-potential contractor relationships

• 2+ years of HVAC distribution or inside sales experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and parts
• Proven ability to grow accounts and hit sales targets
  
  Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze customer buying habits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Account management
• Technical HVAC knowledge a plus
• Time management
