Position: Associate Territory Manager 2, Neurovascular - Memphis, TN / Little Rock, AR

A Day in the Life

We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, which also includes travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.

Across our global Neuroscience organization, we advance care for some of medicine’s most complex neurological and spinal conditions. By combining innovative technology, data‑driven insights, and deep clinical expertise, we partner with physicians and health systems to improve how patients are treated and supported throughout their care journey.

Our Neurovascular operating unit advances treatment of stroke, brain aneurysms, and vascular disorders through innovative endovascular technologies. With devices designed for revascularization, embolization, and precise intervention, we support clinicians in delivering timely, effective care for complex neurovascular conditions.

The Associate Territory Manager 2 (ATM2) will partner with the field sales and clinical teams and act as a resource in markets to drive sales, cover cases, lead in‑service activities, and support expansion and growth within our business. The ATM2 will report directly to the District Manager and support specific territories and business initiatives in tandem with Territory Managers. Additionally, the ATM2 may be required to work outside primary territory assignments as required by business conditions and travel will be a consideration at varied times throughout the fiscal year.

This is a field‑based position. This position will split time between Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long‑term relationships with stakeholders including distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Neurovascular products and/or services.
  • Identify selling opportunities and work closely with the sales representatives to increase sales in their respective accounts.
  • Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options.
  • Promotes education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Execute company sales strategy and manage sales process for the defined area.
  • Communicate benefits of Medtronic products to physicians.
  • Interface with hospital personnel to promote and sell Medtronic products.
  • Train medical personnel in use of Medtronic products.
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints.
  • Identify target accounts.
  • Analyze and report on effectiveness of sales techniques.
  • Project professional company image.
  • Represent Company at medical symposia.
  • This role requires on‑call nights and weekends 30% of the time.
Qualifications Must Have:

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Nice to Have
  • 3 years in medical or hospital service‑line function, medical sales
  • Demonstrated experience in properly functioning within an office or hospital based operating room or cath lab setting.
  • Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response
  • Experience in medical device sales, focused heavily on interventional stroke procedures
  • Recognized sales professional with a proven track record of results in medical sales and training
  • Experience selling medical devices in Neurovascular space

Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application. Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
