Jr. Sales Representative – Sales Development Program (Immediate Opening)
Mueller Water Products, Inc. invites qualified candidates to join our Sales Development Program as a Jr. Sales Representative. The program offers a structured 12‑month path to a Territory Manager role, with extensive training, mentorship, and paid relocation. The position is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with rotational stints with the field sales team and exposure to Customer Service operations. Successful completion may lead to a promotion to Territory Manager and relocation to any field location in the continental United States.
Responsibilities- Acquire knowledge of Mueller's infrastructure water products through training, demonstrations, and seminars.
- Travel with the Mueller Training Van and field sales team to learn about products and related industries.
- Present product demonstrations to end‑users and distributors.
- Assist in in‑house training sessions.
- Set up and take down product displays.
- Prepare to assume the role of Territory Manager upon successful completion of the program.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Communications.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to an open sales territory anywhere in the continental United States after program completion.
- Willingness and ability to travel during training and thereafter as a sales representative.
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with public speaking to large groups.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift over 40 lbs.
- Previous sales experience.

Salary / Pay: $24.50 per hour (full‑time). Total compensation may vary based on performance and location.
