The Role8
Loop Logistics is hiring experienced Sr. Logistics Sales Executives to help grow our customer base and expand revenue across multiple transportation modes.
This is a sales role for candidates who already understand over-the-road logistics, customer development, and how freight actually moves. We are looking for logistics sales professionals with at least 2 years of direct over-the-road logistics sales experience, an established book of customer contacts, and the ability to develop new business without restriction from a non-compete, non-solicitation, or other limiting agreement.
Candidates should be familiar with 53' dry van, drayage, flatbed, intermodal, and other open deck transportation modes. This role is best suited for a self-driven sales professional who knows how to build customer relationships, identify freight opportunities, communicate clearly with operations, and help turn customer conversations into executable business.
Chattanooga-area candidates are preferred, but qualified candidates located anywhere in the continental United States will be considered. Remote candidates may be expected to visit the Chattanooga office periodically.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new customer relationships and grow revenue-producing logistics opportunities
- Use existing customer contacts and industry relationships to identify freight opportunities
- Sell transportation solutions across 53' dry van, drayage, flatbed, intermodal, and other open deck modes
- Build and maintain a disciplined sales pipeline
- Prospect, qualify, and develop shipper relationships across targeted industries
- Work closely with operations, pricing, carrier, and asset teams to ensure freight can be executed properly and profitably
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding rates, capacity, service expectations, market conditions, and operational requirements
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across truckload, intermodal, drayage, flatbed, open deck, warehousing, project freight, and international logistics support
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, customer notes, opportunity updates, and pipeline status
- Manage customer conversations with professionalism, urgency, and follow-through
- Represent 8
Loop Logistics with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, carriers, and industry contacts
- Minimum of 2+ years of direct over-the-road logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or truckload sales experience
- Established book of customer contacts within transportation, logistics, or freight shipping
- No enforceable non‑compete, non‑solicitation, or restrictive agreement that would prevent customer development with 8
