Fire & Life Safety Service Senior Sales Executive – Memphis, TN

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Life Safety Service Senior Sales Executive to help drive growth across the Memphis commercial market
. This is an opportunity to take an active role in expanding an established Fire & Life Safety service business, developing new customers, growing existing relationships, and helping organizations protect their people, facilities, and operations.

You will work directly with healthcare, higher education, industrial, and other complex commercial environments customers
, helping them identify service strategies that support safety, compliance, system reliability, and emergency readiness. The role combines new business development with strategic account growth and is ideal for a sales professional who understands the Fire & Life Safety market, enjoys opening doors, and knows how to build lasting customer relationships.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to develop your territory, build relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborate with technical and operational teams to bring the right service solutions to customers.

You will as the Senior Sales Executive:
  • Drive new business and market growth by identifying, developing, and winning new commercial Fire & Life Safety service opportunities while consistently delivering against sales, booking, and profitability goals.
  • Grow strategic customer relationships by expanding an existing account base and building trusted relationships with decision-makers at multiple levels of customer organizations.
  • Own your territory and pipeline by developing strategic account plans, identifying market opportunities, maintaining a strong qualified pipeline, and consistently delivering against sales forecasts.
  • Serve as a trusted customer advisor by understanding Fire & Life Safety requirements, budgets, investment priorities, and operational objectives and recommending service solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Develop compelling customer solutions by partnering with estimating, operations, and internal resources to create proposals, pricing strategies, and service offerings aligned with customer needs.
  • Build your presence in the Memphis market through customer engagement, industry organizations, networking, and a strong understanding of competitors, market trends, and key decision-makers.
  • Stay connected to the customer with approximately 50% of your time spent in customer-facing meetings and site visits. Overnight travel is approximately 10%, depending on territory needs.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or consulting within commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety, low-voltage electrical, or related commercial building/construction industries. Customer-facing Fire & Life Safety experience, including project management, may also be considered.
  • Experience selling service agreements and technical solutions
    , including estimating, while developing relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations.
  • Working knowledge of commercial Fire & Life Safety systems, equipment, and applicable building safety inspection codes and standards
    , including IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, or related requirements.
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • NICET Level I or II Fire Alarm Certification, or willingness and ability to complete certification testing within two years.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting within commercial Fire & Life Safety or a related commercial building/construction industry.
