As a Security Officer – ER Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, helping maintain a secure environment through routine rounds, visible presence, and prompt reporting. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle as needed to support patrol coverage and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service.

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with clinical teams, and/or contacting local emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or patient and visitor flow; document observations and incidents using required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems.
Support facility operations by following visitor management processes, enforcing site rules, assisting with lost and found, and/or helping direct individuals to appropriate departments when requested.
Must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work at a hospital morgue site.
Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
