Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including supporting de‑escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying credentials and/or authorizations, directing visitors to appropriate areas, and reporting suspicious activity per site policy.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with security‑related tasks such as door checks, alarm response, and securing restricted areas as requested.

• This position is in a hospital environment with vaccines.
• This position is in a hospital morgue environment.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
