As a Security Officer - Flex Roving Driver Patrol in Memphis, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will complete routine patrols and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative while always acting with integrity.

Position Type: Flex

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor traffic, assist with way finding, and verify access authorization where required, while supporting patient privacy expectations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, notifying appropriate staff, and requesting public responders when needed.
  • Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
