You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative while always acting with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and observe visitor traffic, assist with way finding, and verify access authorization where required, while supporting patient privacy expectations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, notifying appropriate staff, and requesting public responders when needed.

+ Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
