Learn more:  As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, support visitor and driver check-in, and document security-related activity. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with operations teams, and help to deter incidents through consistent procedures and professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing drivers, employees, and guests to the proper check-in areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity such as trailers, delivery vehicles, and packages according to post orders, and document irregularities in logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas such as docks, staging lanes, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
